fuge lights

In my fuge is a big ball of chaeto with a few strands of caulerpa stuck in it. Am I better off a) running the lights 24/7 or b) removing the caulerpa and putting the lights on a reverse schedule timer?

The lights in question consist of a 9W 10,000K bulb and a 9W actinic bulb (it's a 9" coralife fixture).

I personally keep my fuge lights on 24/7. I have several different kinds of macro in it. I keep the lights on partly because of having caulerpa as well as keeping my pH stable around the clock. A lot of people don't like caulerpa but I see it as a great nutrient export, it grows fast and can be pruned easily.

I run my fuge lights 24/7. My fuge is full of grape calerpa. As long as you keep it pruned and lights on 24/7 it will not go bad on you.
