I was wondering if I should get a refuge.. I prolly will.. but can I add it later or should I do it when cycling?

It can be added later on without issue. Depending on size, you may want to cycle it as a "stand alone" tank seeding it from the main with some sand or something first. Once ready it can be hooked up to the main. That would avoid any cycling problems affecting the display tank depending on what's in it at the time.

what kind of filtration are you or do you plan on using before the refuge?
