Hey y'all! I live in Charleston SC and was wondering if anyone had any ideas for places to look for some base rock. Any tips or tricks?

(Aside from the lfs:)

Do you live by a quarry or something? I heard thats where rock sellers get their rock... But then again i really wouldnt know much about it. Just a thought that came to me

I am not sure what can be used for base rock, but I am using black lava rock in my tank. I've used it before and like the look once it gets older. I've got about 60lbs and paid about $6 total from the local rock/boulder supply place. I am talking everything for $6, which would get about one pound of live rock from the lfs. They usually sell by the ton and think its hilarious when they ring something up for three bucks.
