GL with your candy cane. Under my T5HO, with 2 10k and 2 actinic my candy cane is heavily bleached and dying. Everything else is doing quite well. BTW, shouldn't you be learning something in school besides SW?

And ya saltwater is way more interesting then ap world history haha
Not if it's acclimated properly. First move it to the bottom of the tank then turn on only your compacts. After a week or more turn on 2 t5s. After 2 weeks turn on the other t5s. Lastly move it to the bottom-mid tank and you'll be fine

The story of how we should adjust all corals. Did it with mine, it just isn't having it. Working hard to save it. GL with yours, they are cool looking corals. Any photo updates for us?

Candy cane is a pretty easy coral to keep IME. We kept ours under 6x39W T5 HO in a 50 breeder, so about the same height as your tank. Just give it time.

Oh okay! 2 heads are doing fine but the other two are not doing as well. Its okay though because i think it has gotten better while it has been in our tank!

Let's stay on topic please. We have a chat room if you would like to talk about your classes in school, or any other off topic matters. Thank you.
