getting started

just aquired my first ever marine tank, comes with absolutely everything apart from a heater (which is required for the sump i assume)

I'd just like a step by step on how to mature the tank ready for coral and fish thankyou.

we have a 100 gallon tank, after our manual set up was complete, we filled our tank with live sand and rock; then added turbo snails, our tank went through a few stages of brown algae and the like, we let it cycle itself for a few months, once the water tested exceptional for a consistant two week period, we slowly started adding fish (starting with damsels and chromis), hope this helps
