i have a bunch of smallish pieces of LR that i would like to attach together, but im not sure what the safest manner to do it in is.

someone told me i could use rubber cement? is this true? seems like a bad idea to me. how about silicone aquarium sealant?

if at all possible i dont want to have to dry the LR out and risk loosing all its happy little organisms, and have to cycle it... again...

thanks so much for any help!

I bought some of that stuff, but havent used it. has anyone taken 2 pcs of lr out glued them together and then put them back in the tank immediately with no adverse affects? Even to corrals?

Having the rock out of the water for a minute or two won't hurt anything. If you use silicone, you'll need to let it set up before you put the rock back in the tank. I'd probably go with the epoxy. You can also use a gel type super glue for small pieces.

I'd go with some of that milliput type stuff that turns purple when set.
