Got another question for ya'll........

Heya,... this question concerns a deep red algae ive been getting on my artificial plants. they've been in my tank for years and all the suddon they have a slight growth on them. Here is a picture and i hope it's of high enough res with my video cam. I know deep red is sometimes not a good thing. If this is what i think it is,.. is there a good cure>? Thanks once again

Ive had great luck getting rid of red slime by adding more actnic light to my tank.

If you'll look at this thread http://www.aquariumadvice.com/viewtopic.php?t=15 it gives advice for controlling many types of unwanted algae, including cyanobacteria (slime algaes).
