Reduce lighting schedule
Reduce feedings
Multiple pwcs over the course of a few weeks
Chemical additive
Buy a fish/invert thatll eat it.

Any of those.. Preferably not the chemical one

Hmm could be my problem too... I run 12 hours. Quick question... I like my light to be on at night cause thats when I am home. I have it come on at 10:30am and go off at 10:30pm. BUT does the daylight effect it? There is no direct sunlight on the tank and my room is fairly dark but its obviously still light. I could set it to come on at like noon I guess and turn off at 10.

since your not home all day so you can enjoy lights on when your home
try cutting back to around 6 till you get that algae under control also lighten up on feeding
and lots of water changes
