i got these had them for a week and they still dident open !!!!! the purple mesh is slowly turning white i have a 44 gal tank with 80 watts of pc light

That's less than 2wpg. I wouldn't think they'd be able to live in such a low light enviroment. You could try moving them as high up as you can get them, see if that helps.

I agree, too little light is likely the problem. Can you post your current water parameters?

wow i dont kno man thats not good...the GSps i got opened withing 2 hours and they were in cold water due to shipping for like2 days

Ya man you don't have proper lighting for that coral, or any coral for that matter. You can either take the coral back, or get another PC fixture asap.
