HI today I added some green star polyps and a torch coral to my nano reef tank. I was told to put my green star polyps on the live rock so the things living in the sand don't eat them when my tank lights were on only half of the green star polyps came out and they were all on one side of it does anyone no why only half came out. Also after my tank lights went out I went to see my new torch coral and it seemed to move its polyps so it's mouth was visible is this normal when there Is no lights on? I am a bit worried cause I have never seen my hammer coral show it's mouth in the dark. Please help.

My torch coral is also located in my live rock structure.

Id say this is normal I don't have a tourch but my star polyps wernt all open all the time for a few days.

My torch took a few days to open.

The GSP are hardy- but finicky. They will open up in time.

When I got my hammer and torch coral they all opened within a few hours of being put in the tank except I was just worried about the GSP cause they didn't
