hang on fliter and protein skimmer

will a 50 gallon hang on fliter and a 30 gallon protein skimmer be good for a 30 gallon tank?

To start, I think you should be good. The key is to have one step over of what you currently have, so Im pretty sure you'd be OK... However, as time goes on, think about upgrading! ;o)

yea, like i said, as long as it puts out up to 50 - 55 gal. you'll be good! ;o)
