i had wanted to set up a tank for years and finally started my first sw in april. two weeks ago i got my first fish - a clown (girlfriend's choice) and this weekend i added a yellow tang. they are so awesome to watch. they follow each other around all the time. it reminds me of a big brother/little brother! just wanted to share!
btw i have learned so much from this site, i don't know what i would do without it.

Just watch out for the yellow tang they are said to be able to keep in 50gal. aquariums but they get very large "dinner plate" size.

It's so funny you mention the buddy-like nature of your tang and clown. We have a Scopas Tang (similar shape to your yellow) who is total buddies with two paired clowns. They are seldom seem apart - where one goes, the others go.

Unfortunately, they are split up now in QT.
