How big of a heater do I need for a 75 gallon tank?

200 watts get a fluval fully shbmersible titanium heater. I have a 300 in my 90 but ran a 15 in it fine with no problems

It really depends on how cold your house gets. IMO 2 200 watt or with a temperature controller to stop a runaway heater. I would recommend a controller that will alarm at over or under temperature.

Depends if the op wants a sump for added volume or not really

I've always run 2 watts per gallon, even with my house at 68 deg.F my tanks hold 78 deg.F
