help!!! added shrimp tank really stinks

I added two raw shrimp to my 125 gal a couple of days ago and now my tank really stinks bad. my ammonia is at 1.0 can I take the shrimp out so it dont stink so bad?

It will stink bad. Leave it in if you want to cycle your tank.

When we set up my tank, there was TONS of die off from the rock, and the smell was awful. I added some carbon in my filter and it did help some. Just buy some good air freshener and stick it out. The smell will go away.

Well its quite a simple device... most people hang clothes with them... but also a good tool for the nose so you cant smell things.. LOL
