Ok how much should I add at first its a 36 gallon. And yes I know to premix once I have livestock. How exactly do you use the hydrometer? Just dip it in?

yeah, just dip it in and let it fill with water. make sure you tap all the water bubbles off of the swing arm. bubbles attached to it will give you a bad reading.
I don't know how much for a 36. I do like I said, put a few scoops in and then test....repeat,......

Ok probably just a dumb question but a 160 gallon bucket of salt makes around 160 gallons of salt water?

Ok water is a little cloudier than what it was I've been trying to pour the salt by the powerhead so it will help circulate it. How long should I wait before I check the level?
