am going to move from a 55 g to an 80 g tank . The guy at the fish store sold me 1 large bag of crushed coral from florida and 2 bags of aragonite sand. I put the crushed coral on the bottom and the sand on top. I am going to remove the sand from my 55g and put it on top of the new sand etc. I just read an article on dsb and it says not to use crushed coral?????? help. I used it in the 55 g and have had good results with my corals. should i start over ?????

It depends on what you want to do with your substrate. If you want a DSB and want to house critters in your substrate, I would recommend removing the CC. If you just wasn a shallow bed and are palnning on cleaning it (vacuum) then it will be fine, you should realize though the larger particles are going to come to the surface, or the crushed coral will end up on top.
