Help......Pom Pom Xenia question

My Xenia has been looking great and even spread already, tonite half of it looks shriveled up and grey is this normal??

Soft corals can go through 'stages' where they are perky and then shrived up. To be sure, I'd want to check the current parameters in the tank.
