HELP! ro water? hissing?
i have just got my ro unit and attached it to the hma and it is sort of hissing?

does it always do this or is it letting out of the gas?

also is it best to discard the first few gallons that it makes?

The hissing sounds like its leeting out air. Maybe a seal is not quite sealed?

Yes I have heard its good to dump the first 5 gal or so of water you make.

my corallife ro unit always hisses, its the water going threw the flow restrictor. the red hose or waste water. this is normal for mine. 24gph 2 stage

yeah it has calmed down a bit now but is still making a slight noise but i think it will always do.
