i have an overflow hang on mate and thanks for the advice you lot

Run a small tube down the drain and hang it over the side that quieted mine sown but make sure it doesn't fall all the way in like mine did

do you mean just poke an air line down into the pipe and leave the top hanging out.. and that will stop the gurgling

I don't think you can ever really stop it completely but that did quiet mine down.
