high ph in our qt

the ph in our 20 gallon qt has been 8.8 the last 5 days....it has been 8.3 to 8.4 since it started cycling on the 9th of this month. What do I need to do to get it back down? The ph in our 100g has been right at 8.2 since it started cycling at the same time.

Any suggestions?

If it is cycling, it is not uncommon for ph to fluctuate dramatically.

Like Lisa said if it`s cycling then no need to worry but if you should ever have this problem after the cycle then frequent PWC`s will do the job.

I agree, let it cycle and it can take up to 6 months before the tank is fully stable.
