How do i get rid of this noise issue?!

I've got the eshopps pf-800 hang on over flow box. The drain has this gurgle that's kinda noise and yes I knew it was going to be, but is there anything I can do to help prevent this? I've tried putting cloths where it's at to help with the noise, but still it's annoying! Heres some pics of my system. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!

There's a dorso you can make with PVC. Look it up.

Run a bit of tubing down the pipe to your sump with the end out of the water

Drilling a hole at the top and putting a small piece of tubing trough it will probably fix it as well.

Noticed that big bubble in the u-tube. Does that accumulate over time? If so, you need to increase the flow through the overflow or it could end up in disaster.

Yeah I tried getting rid of the bubble, but once I start the syphon and there's no bubble eventually the bubble gets there. people are saying drill a hole on the top of it but I don't want to ruin my U-tube. plus won't that break the syphon?

Here's how it enters the sump start to finish.
the tape is there to block light because of my lights growing a lot of diatoms in the U-tube.
hope the pics help. let me know and I can try to take more.
