How long does mixed SW keep?

I saw this question before, but I can't find the answer.

I have a 3 gallon water jug, and I would like to do two 1.5 gallon water changes in my 10 gallon QT a week apart. If I cap the jug to prevent evaporation, will the SW eventually go bad? And if so, how long?

Fish are friends, not food.

No, it won't go bad. Just be sure to airate and temp. match the water before adding it to the tank.
