Just put fish in my qt tank. How long should I leave them there before moving them to the dt?

I went with 2.5 weeks for my blue tang watching like a hawk. had no issues with him, he ate like a pig and showed no signs of anything funny. So in he went to my 125g and he's perfectly fine and happy in there now.
He did hide for like 3 days behind some rocks but overall I feell I did ok for the amount of qt time. Some people do recommend 4 weeks but I figured if he wasnt sick after 2.5 weeks he wasnt gonna be.
Right move or not I feel better about qt'ing than I did before.
