Is it cool to hook up the air tube to the PH and blast air bubbles in that way? Maxijet ph come with an attachment to hook up an air line tube. It does make the water appear cloudy, and there is an insane amount of turbulence in the water. There are no livestock in the tank, only live sand, as it has just started cylcing. No skimmer on, but I have one. Lots of surface agitation and areation is good right??

Thanks mates

The turbulence is there if you have the ventri running on the PH or not. The bubbles just allow your eye to see the water turbulence.

I dont run ventri's on my PH's as the air can collect on live rock and IMO can irratate fish once they are in the tank.
