how much do you pay for live rock?

4.50 a lb, over 20lbs and it drops .25 a pound. it's fullly cured fiji, they have four or five big square containers at any time. they cycle the new shipments to the back, and move the back to the front for sale. it's usually a month or two before they re-supply, so the "new" stuff gets completely cured before sale. the stuff i bought was covered in baby featherdusters, the rest was fresh from a 300g breakdown, tons of coralline and even a sponge. last week they sold me 30+ brown polyps on 2 3lb pieces of LR for 20 dollars. the shop owner is supposed to be the co-designer of the remora aquac, he sells them for 120.00 w/o powerhead. anywho, i love my lfs they have the biggest selection and the lowest prices in town(i have gone to ALL of them), actually he's 25 miles or so away but it's worth the drive.
