how much salt goes in 5 gl / cloudy tank q's

Does anyone know how much salt goes into 5gl of water to make salinity
1.023 trying to figure a simple method for my water changes
also just got my tank and need to raise my salinity but
Dont want to make my tank cloudy for 3days again
Any help

to get my level to 1.024 i use 1/2 cup per gallon if i ever want to lower it the last cup i put in i dont fill it all the way and i see a really slight change. this can be done either way
