How to postion power heads

What is the best way to position power heads. I have a 72 gallon bow front and two power heads. Should I put them at opposite ends of the tank with one high and one low. Should I point them at the live rock, each other or the front glass.

I have two in a 90g and have them at opposite ends, one at top and one at bottom, with the top one pointing at the front glass and the bottom one pointing straight down the back glass into the rocks. This causes a circular motion that forces all the water through the rocks to aid in filtration. Others have different methods that work as well.
