I got water in my lighting fixture. Now what?

Some water got into my Nova Extreme pro lighting fixture. Will they work still? I plan on letting them dry out and turning them on. Any recommendations?

It depends on how much and what components got wet ... Try to if possible take the shield out and wipe down with plain water .....

Sorry, what is the shield? Are talking about the splash shield that goes over the lights.
