I think this is Coralline???

New tank, been running for 2 months. Bought Live Rock of CL and they were sitting in salt water with skimmer.

They came from a well established tank and were deep purple at one time...

I am starting to notice a lot of brown spots and I think some purple might be mixing in with brown on LR. Any thoughts from experiences reefers?

The brown is diatoms. If it is purple is is most likely coralline.

Diatom grows even if all your lvl's are balanced?
