so i know when the water evaperates your salenity goes up........ but what about the salt creep on top of my glass and tank??? if the salt is up there and not in the water do you loose salt??

You actually lose both as when the salt spray is thrown on top of your tank it is a salt solution. After the water evaporates from it then a salty crust remains. Either way that`s what they make hydrometers and refractometers for. A constant check on your salinity is a good thing.

yeah, thats my 28 gal bowfront.. its only a few months old. the tank is now going topless. cause the salt gets in the way of the light, and it makes my nems mad.
