Get some LR and use the whisper as a refugium. Get a nice light fixture and have some cool corals :)

I run a 2x32 watt PC fixture on my 10 gal and use a whisper as a fuge :)

With something that small just go freshwater, making it SW is a waste of time.
Why do people still say this? Ever heard of nano-tanks? Not everyone can afford or have the room for a 200 gallon reef tank.

I like ellisz idea. You can have a beautiful sw tank in a 10 gallon. Heck, I've seen it done in a 2.5

I built and base and canopy ofr my 10 gal, sort of similar to the 5 gal mini-bow(which I also have set up as salt water). I would never do anything but saltwater.

With a 10 gal, you will be limited on your fish selection but only limited on corals by your light selection.

There was a post about 2 weeks ago that had a killer 10 gal. Mine is just for frags but many do them for a full blown reef.

If you've never done SW though, I don't recommend a tank that small. Unstable due to water volume, can make for a huge headache for a SW newbie.

Nano's are often considered 'a new challenge' for experienced reefers.
