Not me, but not sure how it applies to this thread. Vodka dosing isn't something I'd suggest for a beginner, which is what Catmel seems to be aiming at with this thread. It's hard enough when you're starting out to get a handle on what everything means, and how everything is interrelated, and throwing something like this at someone early on doesn't seem like a real good thing. Seems like it's kind of like trying to teach the finer points of doing a pit maneuver at the same time you're teaching someone to drive for the first time.

Ahhhh... the PIT maneuver is easy.... driving is the hard part...

ex.

PIT - purposely steer into another car and push it off the road
Driving - try not to get steered into or pushed off the road by the 45637454 morons texting, doing makeup, eating a burger, reading a book, playing with their kids - while obeying all traffic laws....

Aside from that analogy - I agree Kurt - Vodka dosing is a little advanced for the beginning hobbyist... I should know

I agree. I have no intention of trying it, I was just curious if someone had.

Send a message via AIM to catmel
I included it in the ending to warn newbies to do research, because it seems its becoming a lot more common place in forums lately. Not something you want someone new to try and 'dive into'
