In-Sump Pump Isolation

Anything I can do to make my return pump run a little quieter? It's an Eheim 1260 sitting directly on the bottom of the sump. Are there any pads that are safe to have in the water?

You could try a small piece of foam or rubber.

Yeah, I thought about using a piece of the foam pad for my wife's elliptical machine. Just wasn't sure of it was okay to have that in the tank.

I use a piece of plane Jane foam for my 90. Just remember to clean it out every now and then.

I put a Ziploc bag with some sand under my Mag 9.5. No sound at all.

Thanks! I'd like to claim credit, but I'm sure someone out there worked it out at some point.
