Thanks, that's what I was looking for. I'm using two medium-sized shrimp right now (tank's 55 gal). Think I should throw in some more?

I think you need to throw in more shrimp until your tank can convert ammonia to 0ppm in less 24 hrs

2 shrimp should provide sufficient ammonia
