i just checked out a 120g. acrylic tank for sale that also includes a stand and canopy for $300. the stand has a built in sump w/ a trickle filter filled w/ bio balls. $300 seems like a good deal. it is scratched up but i don't mind buffing them out.

also, anybody have any experience w/ putting a tank of this size on a hardwood floor?

Astronomically good price. Hardwood floors are better than carpet because you can get it level and don't have to worry about spills. Our floors are hardwood and I'm thankful every time I do a water change.
