Is aiptasia bad for a fish tank?

I just found out i have aiptsia in my tank. Should I get rid of it?

Yes yes yes yes yes. Aiptasia is a really bad thing to have in your tank. If it's on a little rock, I recommend just throwing the rock out. How many do you have in there?

They are not recommended because they grow to plague like numbers and they do sting your corals. Read this article on how to get rid of them.
