Hi all, i have been cycling a FOWLR for while now it has half live rock half dead rock its recently had a huge diatom bloom the water stats are ;

Ammonia - .25 (few hours after dosing to 2ppm)
Nitrite - 0.50
Ph - 8.2
Nitrate - over 100
Calcium - 450
Phosphate - between 0.1 and 0.3
Salinity - 1.024
Temperature - 27 Celsius

You will know you're done when a 4 ppm ammonia dose is gone (both amm and nitrites) within 24 hrs. Using a 2 ppm dose and over a "few hours" still having amm and nitrite, it's hard to say if your done.
