I would like to know if my lighting is good for a 30g regular. I want it to be a reef tank so Iam just wondering. Its is 2 dual compact 96 wat bulbs one is a dual daylight white power compact and second one is dual compact actinic I believe and the hood is a metal halide

If you want a reef I would consider different lights. Power compacts will be ok for some of the less light demanding corals, but you definately want more than that.

So would corals like zooanthids and mushrooms do well

zoas and shrooms should will be ok, but you should definitely look into some new lights.. PC's will have to be change somewhat regularly and REALLY limit you on what corals you can have.. It will be hard to resist the many varieties you will see at your LFS..

What about certain Lps like frogspawn which need to be feed would they need the lighting
