Hi all, as the title says really my tank has been up and running about 6-7 months its a juwel trigon 190 sumped and it has 6-7 soft corals 7 fish a few shrimps, starfish, urchin, crabs etc and 2 T5 HO 54W bulbs 1 marine white and 1 actinic blue was wondering if i can add a cody anemone or is it a bad idea? Will it jut roam around and sting everything else? I was planning on keeping it in a clear container with holes drilled and a mesh lid with a rock for it to hopefully attach to Iv attached a picture of test result from my water just now salinity is 1.025

Thanks

I think your tank is ready but your lights probably aren't going to cut it. Nems need intense lighting.

You can't force an anemones to stay anywhere. It will move where it wants to. Using the clear container is not going to help. I also agree that you don't have enough light.

The store thats selling them keeps them under t5HO and said there fine i dunno if i trust them though, i know a bloke thats kept one under a T8 for some time now though

T5 is just the type of lamp. It's not the intensity. I would have at least 4 T5 lamps over your tank, but 6 would be better.

I have 30 9800k 78 lumen led's with magnification lenses and 20 actinic blue the same i have added aswell as my T5 its plenty bright enough now

You have 50 x 1W (bridgelux?) leds for a 48" tank. Even if they are driven to 100%, which it sounds like, it will be touch-and-go for an anemone. Might work tho with the 2 T5HO bulbs.

The LED's i have are custom made 4 per square by someone here in England heres a few pictures of the lights not all mine just the ones i had one hand that he's done
