Is this canister filter ok?

The filter itself seems fine, there are media baskets and seems easy to put together. But you'll want a canister rated for about twice the size of your tank, so look for those that are rated for 100g; this one is 75g. Some people will say you shouldn't do a canister for SW, that they are "nitrate factories." I have one on my reef and my water parameters are good, never had any hair algae or cyano. But I do clean mine very well every single week when I do PWCs and change out the sponges regularly. My nitrates are usually between 5-10, today they were 8. Good luck and welcome to SW!! :)
 
You can go with wet dry filter since you have live rock i hear the same canister filter give nitrate issue get a canister twice the size of tank good luck
