So my ricordea has only done it twice and in the process of doing it now but it is closing up more than it did the first time is it normal for them to do this

Like I left my house so no picks right now but like an anemone would suck its tentacles in but... Ok the best way to explain it is like a rose blooming but backwards like from the flower back to the bud

No, its not normal softies will often times close up due to low Alk or too much light.
What are the parameters on your tank?

All good it's fine now it didn't like completely fold up just like pushed itself together and then opened back up it seems to do this every time it poops which is only been twice

Weird will they do it with higher alkalinity cuz it's like 1.025-1.026

Oh and my lighting is pretty low too it might be because it's close to my engineer gobys hole and it spits out just a little bit of dirt on to it so I don't know

Ok it seems fine to me the ricordea that is it's open and colorful so I will get a kit soon
