just added io salt

ii just added my salt to my ro water and it looks like alot of particles a flowing around in thereand it seems to be comming from the bak-pak 2 protein skimmer. i belive they are particles of salt but they are way to tiny to tell if they are microbubbles but the bio part of the skimmer has been a chalky white color ever since adding the salt is this normal i weighed the salt on a digital scale so i know im at the right amount so i dont think there is too much in. can someone please give me a little info thanx

Instant Ocean salt doesn't often dissolve well.

Did you add salt directly to your tank??? If so I hope it's empty and just in the setup phase.

yes i added it directly to the tank and all that is in there is my ro water and i have my 2 powerheads going my filter and my skimmer it is in the setup stage im going to wait about a week or so to get everything perfect before i add my live rock and live sand.
