Just got some free equipment

I was just given 2 Penguin 660 powerheads for free. Has anybody had any experience with them. I was going to buy a maxijet 1200 to get my water flow up where it should be, but those 2 ph's shoud do the same, they pump 170 gph each. I also got a Magnum 330. I looked it up and found that they stopped making it in 1990. I don't know if it works or not. Has anybody used that filter before. I have a 30 gal tank that I will make a reef out of in the future and was thinking about using that.

All of my filters are close to that old.. I have a old Magnum 350.. I think they still make it but im not to sure.. the design is about the same the 330 is just scaled down some.. if you have good parts it should be fine.. they are a little noisy and there really isnt a way to give them bio-media capasity.. I would rely on other means such as DSB and LR for that.. HTH
