Your article says about adding fish

Unlike traditional cycling where a small amount of hearty fish are introduced into a tank, and slowly additional fish are added, fishless cycling (when properly performed) allows for a complete stocking of the tank at once.

but you just wrote to me;

Just don't put in a lot of fish at once, you'll want to wait several weeks in between each purchase to allow the bacteria and your tank to get used to the new inhabitant.

so you see I need good clarification of what to do,, and sometimes the whys,,,

the pet store said the ph was high
I had not idea what level it should be

do the rock ad to the PH?

will test tomo and see if I can learn while the ammonia-nitrite- nitrate moves around
hopefully it is going thru a good cycle

at what stage do plants come?
some are for feeding the fish & corals right?

my tank is getting cloudy now
