You do not want to aerate the kalk
. You only want to make enough for 3-5 days. After that the kalk
loses potency. Aerating the kalk
will introduce co2
, and will actually lower the ph, as well as cause calcium carbonate to precipitate out.
BTW, the only time I aerate my RO
water, is right before I use it. Water is a sponge and will absorb anything that is in the air that is pumped into it. It reallly doesn't take long to get the O2
level to saturation, and that is as much as you need
