How far do I need to have my light from my water?? Need to kno asap making a top thanks!!!

6" to avoid splashing. Will their be plexiglass in between the water and the bulbs? What kind if lights?

Yeah, it depends on the type of light and the strength of the light as well. Some LED's can be placed as far as +3-4 feet from the surface. Some halides farther, some closer. It really does all depend on the type of light and its intensity.

Yes theere is plexi between the bulbs and water I dnt kno what kind here's a picure

It has Cf 65w actnic on the blue bulbs and it has a set 4 LEDs and the hid bulb says ac 120v 60 hz max case temp 90c max output 920vpk any ideas

I made a canapy n I'm puting. Two mh 400 Watt. 22 inches from the glass top and I'm outing a box fan on top for ample. Air flow what you guys think? ?!
