What lighting do i need to start a reef tank? Ive heard of coralife but How many bulbs do I need?I've seen fixtures with two bulbs and some with four! I just need one that can support most corals. I'm new to this! Anyone know where I could get a 20 inch strip at a good price that could sit on a glass canopy?

If you're really considering the Odyssea fixture you might want to look at this.
http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/inde...owtopic=262290
I was one of those "Odyssea probably has a bad rep for no reason" people. Until I saw this. I was going to buy it, because it's so cheap. But then I read that post.
I suggest Current Usa Nova Extreme, (My tank's 18" so I bought the 18" fixture, not 20") or Aquatic Life (for decent price with better quality).

I've had my odysea 30" quad t5 for a few weeks now, over a month and i've had no problems with it. I agree it is cheap workmanship though. I plan on going to a 55 soon anyway so it works for me.

I have a mix of many different saltwater fish amongst my tanks, but I love my Tangs most of all.
