Anyone have a light fixture suggestion that i can look up for a 50 gallon macroalgae display tank? Possibly have 2-3 fish and some shrimp.

What is your budget? Any preference on lighting type (i.e. LEDs, T5HO, etc)?

That size tank has literally hundreds of lighting solutions but it will come down to your personal preference and your budget.

So no budget in mind? You could range from a couple hundred bucks up to 1200.

Taotronics LED fixtures (eBay) (2)
Aqua Illumination Vega Color (2)
Ecotech Radio Gen 2 (2)
Reefbreeders LEDs (2)
Fish Need it 4X T5HO

Here are some options across the spectrum in terms of price, features, and type for you to take a look at.

Thanx I was looking at the taotronics. They seem reliable enough for macroalgae

If you running macro algae tank, you will need to have few red LED in there, or at least NW instead of only CW. As the algae will like more red and blue spectrum in this case
