Will T5 HO lights work for growing sps corals

What size tank?

It is not the type of bulb that is needed, just lots of light. I had clams and SPS growing great under compact fluorescents.

Do I have to use any supplements?

Depends on your tank, the corals, etc. There will always be some sort of limiting factor. Light, temperature, food, Ca, Mg, KH, etc. can all be limiting factors.
