there are so many answers to your general questions. It will depend on,
1)dimension/size of your tank
2) live stock you keeping
3) budget range
4) effect that you can accept
These are few things we need to know before suggesting anything.

It's a 48" 55 gallon aquarium. I have 3 artificial 11x11 artificial sea rocks that I plan to frag out! 2 percular clown, snowflake eel, 2 gramma, 2 cleaner shrimp and 2 peppermint shrimp. And also a anemone for the clowns!
